Justin grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Emily grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We met while attending Hillsdale College, where we both completed our bachelor degrees in 2007; Justin in Political Science and Emily in English with a minor in Classical Studies.
We married in 2007 and moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan where we were members of Reformed Baptist Church of Kalamazoo and both worked for non-profit organizations.
In 2012, we moved to Oklahoma to be near Emily's family and welcomed the birth of our daughter, Elise, in July. While living in Southern Oklahoma we were members of Sovereign Grace Bible Church of Ada.
Justin joined the To Every Tribe team in January, 2013. He is the Director of Communications & Development.
